Impact

This page will report who uses Roots & Rivers and what they learn, with real numbers only. Version 1.0 was published in October 2026, so there is nothing to report yet. It will be updated as results come in, and every number will say where it came from.

What we will measure

Do readers learn?	Pre and post quizzes in South Asian Student Association meetings, using the pilot study kit (with consent)
Do readers talk with their families?	Number of Ask Your Elders interviews reported in club sessions and stories shared in the Story Archive
Is it accurate?	Number of errors reported and fixed, on the Accuracy page

The pilot

The first planned pilot is with the South Asian Student Association at Eastview High School in Apple Valley, Minnesota, during the 2026-27 school year. Students who agree to take part (with parent permission) take a short quiz before and after a set of chapters. Results will be reported here only as group totals, with no names.
